1.      Tujuan Pembelajaran
Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat merespon makna dalam:
a. Bisa membuat kalimat sesuai dengan gambar;
b.Menulis kalimat dengan menggunakan bentuk Present Continuous tense
c. Melengkapi kalimat dengan ragam bahasa yang tepat berdasarkan keterangan pada gambar;
d.Menulis kalimat dengan menggunakan kata keterangan waktu seperti now, right now, at present, etc.
e. Bisa menjelaskan pengertian Recount dan Generic Structure in Recount text.

Apersepsi :
·      Tanya jawab tentag materi yang akan dipelajari;
·      Menulis hal-hal yang ingin diketahui tentang materi yang akan diajarkan.


Motivasi :
·      Menulis lima hal tentang apa yang sedang dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang berada di luar ruangan: What is the headmaster doing out there?, what is your mother doing at this moment?etc;
·      Menulis jawaban tentang kebiasaan apa saja yang sering dilakukan: What do you usually do in the holiday? Do you usually go to recreation in holiday? Etc.

Eksplorasi
Dalam kegiatan eksplorasi, guru:
F Melengkapi kalimat yang rumpang dengan membaca keterangan yang tersedia;
F Membuat kalimat yang sesuai dengan gambar.


Elaborasi
Dalam kegiatan elaborasi, guru:
F Menulis kalimat dengan berdasarkan tabel yang telah dilengkapi, misal: I am … (study) English right now;
F Menulis kalimat dengan menggunakan bentuk Present Continuous;
F Menulis kalimat dengan menggunakan kata keterangan waktu seperti now. Right now, at present, etc. berdasarkan pilihan yang tersedia;
F A recount text is a text that telling the reader about one story, action or activity. Its goal is to entertaining or informing the reader.
F Generic structure: orientation, events, reorientation.


Konfirmasi
Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi, guru:
F Memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat, maupun reward terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik,
F Memberikan konfirmasi terhadap hasil eksplorasi dan elaborasi peserta didik melalui berbagai sumber,
F Memfasilitasi peserta didik melakukan refleksi untuk memperoleh pengalaman belajar yang telah dilakukan,

Last night, I read an article about adolescence in a magazine. I learned that it was a time of change between childhood and adulthood.
After I finished reading the article from the magazine, I remembered my own adolescence. I was fourteen at that time. I felt very emotional about everything. But I tried to learn more about myself. I tried to discover what I wanted to do, and what kind of people I wanted to be.
To divert my emotions, I took many extracurricular activities. I took piano lessons on Mondays. On Tuesdays, I joined an English course. Then on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I had extra science and math lessons. Fridays, it was my time to play basketball with my friends. Finally, I spent most of my weekends with my family.
 I was able to control my emotions and to have a place where I could express my creativity in positive ways.

Usage:
·         Digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang sedang berlangsung.
·         Digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang bersifat sementara.
·         Digunakan untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang dimaksud pada waktu yang akan dating.
Formula:

Characteristics of Recount Text
A recount text is a text that telling the reader about one story, action or activity. Its goal is to entertaining or informing the reader.
Orientation tells who was involved, what happened, where the events took place, and when it happened.
Example : Last night, I read an article about adolescence in a magazine.
Events (event 1 and 2) tell what happened and in what sequence.
Example : After I finished reading the article, I remembered my own adolescence; To divert my emotions, I took many extracurricular activities.
• Reorientation consists of optional-closure of events/ending.
Example: I was able to control my emotions and to have a place where I could express my creativity in positive ways.
• The features are including Who? Where? When? Why?, noun or pronoun, and past tense.
Examples: I, at home, last night, a magazine, I took....
